~Name~
Riptide (Anaklusmos)

~Origin~
The sword originated as Zoë Nightshade's hairclip, which she gave to Hercules to help him defeat the monster Ladon and is said to have the ocean as its source of power, which would explain why it works well for children of Poseidon. Hercules did not give Zoë any credit for killing Ladon, leaving her to face the wrath of her father and sisters alone. This betrayal was the basis for her later hatred of male demigods. The sword was later given to Perseus Jackson by Chiron, and passed down to Jason.


~Abilities~
Riptide is a magical sword, currently in the possession of Jason Reaf, it is made out of celestial bronze, a material that is only effective on magical creatures. When used on mortals, the sword passes through them as if nonexistent. Mortals also do not see Riptide as a sword, but as a sort of modern gun. One of Riptide's most interesting features is the fact that it takes the form of a ballpoint pen (that reads "Anaklusmos" on the side) when not in use. Once the pen is uncapped, it transforms into its functional sword form. It is almost impossible to lose, as it is enchanted to appear in the current possesers' pocket if it is somehow lost. However, if the user doesn't have pockets the pen doesn't return.

~Looks~
At first it appears as a regular ballpoint pen with Greek writing for "Anaklusmos" on the side. When uncapped it takes the form of a celestial bronze shortsword.

~Dexterity~
Very tough,has survived many generations without breaking.

~Name~

~Origin~
The shield was given to Jason on his fifteenth birthday by Hermes. Hermes only delivered the package,but didn't say who truly sent it to him. Nobody except Hermes,and the person themselves know who sent it.

~Abilities~
It acts as a shield after activation. It can also play music

~Looks~
When deactivated it looks like an iTouch,and completely normal. Once the proper button is selected,the iTouch becomes a shield. The shield is one foot in diameter. It has a golden trim around the edges,and the inner surface is blue. In the center is an Apple symbol,carved in Greek style.

~Dexterity~
Fairly tough,could withstand multiple attacks from Laistrygonians
